The west and south-west shores of our islands are often steep, occasionally vertical and inaccessible, therefore less populated. This is especially true for the offshore islands, but also for those in our inshore island groups. In the world we live in, they are interesting for their remoteness, virgin nature and far away horizons.

On the north-western part of the island of Ugljan, facing the “open sea”, next to Luka Pavlešina, is the location of a group of residential buildings (holiday homes).

First conceived as a complex of tourist apartments (11) and later as holiday homes on separate plots (6), the spatial and architectural design was partly predefined by the location itself, a slope descending to the sea, covered in myrtle and juniper scrub, with several rocks imbedded in the ground.
